Christian County Special Needs Registry
Disasters in our county bring upon us many different challenges. One of which is the ability of emergency responders to meet the special challenges of residents in our county that may have special needs and disabilities. In a disaster situation, some folks pose unique situations, such as not being able to drive, requiring advanced medical care, etc.
In an effort to identify residents with some of these special challenges, Christian County Emergency Management have developed a form to distribute throughout the county. Once collected, we will be able to plot all of these residents, their location on the map and their special needs. If a disaster happens, we will be able to readily identify these individuals and be able to meet these challenges in a more timely manner.
All of this information will be confidential! Nothing will be distributed to the public. So, if you have a family member, know a neighbor or you yourself have a special need or challenge, please fill out this form and get it back to us so that we will be able to meet your specific needs in a better and faster manner.
Attention Service Providers: Please feel free to distribute this information to your clients in Christian County. We understand that YOU the provider cannot disseminate this information to us on your own. BUT, please make sure that any client that has a potential challenge, gets this form.
Additionally, as time goes by, things change in our lives. With this in mind, don’t forget to update us on these changes so we can keep up with you.
